Barbara Kaufman, PhDc

Barbara Kaufman is a serial entrepreneur, visionary, and corporate motivator. She began her career as a practicing clinical psychologist and continued as a businesswoman across several industries, financing medical startup practices and establishing art galleries. A lasting passion for education, spiritual enlightenment, and social consciousness led her to found Global Holdings and Development, LLC, the company dedicated to anchoring the circular economy's reliance on recycled PET products across the United States, Mexico, and South America.

She attended Boston University, earned an MA in clinical psychology from Sonoma State College of California, and pursued doctoral studies in industrial psychology at International University, where she serves on the board. She founded the Orionus Foundation, a nonprofit for the advancement of the human spirit in science, education, and art. Among GHD's expansion tracks, she is leading the company's push toward waste-to-energy capacity in the regions it serves. She resides in Newport Beach, California, and Pompano Beach, Florida.
